International Institute for Monitoring Democratic and Parliamentary Process
On 10 December 2018 a press-conference of the CIS International Observers Mission on the outcomes of the monitoring of the snap elections to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia took place in Yerevan.
Head of the Mission, First Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Viktor Guminsky concluded: “The snap elections were carried out in accordance with the Constitution and the Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia. The elections were held on a multi-party basis, were transparent and open”.
IPA CIS Observer Team Coordinator, Deputy Speaker of the Jogorky Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic Mirlan Bakirov noted that the elections administrative bodies and other relevant public authorities of the Republic of Armenia had done a lot to arrange the voting process in a short time frame in the run-up to the electoral campaign.
