Director of IIMDD IPA CIS attends the 23rd Annual Conference of ACEEEO

At the conference Andrey Baranov, the Director of the IPA CIS IIMDD, presented a report International Election Observation in the CIS. Role of the Chisinau Convention of 2002.

He stressed the importance of election observation as a core democratic tool which pursues the exchange of best practices among numerous actors. He believes that the electoral monitoring should not be a bashing session but rather a learning exercise.
