11th YIPA CIS meeting took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace

Within the framework of the IPA CIS spring session the 11th YIPA CIS meeting took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace.
The meeting brought together the youth parliamentary delegations of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan. The delegations included members of legislative bodies at the national, regional and local levels.
The participants of the event drew the outcomes of the YIPA CIS activities in 2017, exchanged their experience in voluntary activities, discussed the drafting of the Recommendations on the Regulation and Development of the CIS Youth Parliaments and the interaction of the YIPA CIS and the CIS Advisory Board on Youth Affairs, as well as the information on the results of the Fourth Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians organized by the IPU Forum of Young Parliamentarians.
The meeting also discussed the annual action plan for the Youth Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations, which includes the preparations for the autumn extended session to be dedicated to the Year of Culture in the CIS.
