Budget Oversight Commission of the IPA CIS held its session in the Tavricheskiy Palace

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Alexey Sergeev opened the session. He welcomed the participants and reminded them that the current session should focus the housekeeping issues – the election of the Chairperson and Deputy Chairs for the next term.

Alexey Sergeev noted that the parliamentary elections to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic took place on 4 October. The Kyrgyz Republic formed uits parliamentary delegation at the IPA CIS. The delegation nominated Maksat Sabirov for the position of Chair of the Budget Oversight Commission

The decision to appoint Maksat Sabirov was unanimous.

The session focused on the current financing issues of the IPA CIS, budgetary matters and draft resolutions of the IPA CIS Council related to finance.
