Harmonization of law on security and countering new challenges and threats discussed in the Tavricheskiy Palace

The session is chaired by the Vice-Chair of the Commission Member of the Commission on International Affairs, Defense and Security of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanat Dzharasov. The agenda of the meeting included countering legalization (laundering) of illegal assets, financing of terrorism and proliferation of WMDs, border security, countering technological terrorism, illegal drug trafficking, fighting corruption and cyber crime, regulation of NGOs, support for AT protection of vital facilities in the CIS.
