Muhammad Goib’s Address to IPA CIS Council

On 22 November 2019, the award ceremony took place during the 50^th plenary session in the Tavricheskiy Palace.

By a decision of the IPA CIS Council, the IPA CIS Chingiz Aitmatov Prize in Literature was awarded to the national poet of Tajikistan, playwright, screenwriter, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Tajikistan in Literature Muhammad Goib. Unfortunately, due to the health reasons, he was unable to come to St. Petersburg for the ceremony. Speaker of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Makhmadsaid Ubaidulloev, accepted the award on behalf of the laureate and transmitted Muhammad Goib’s Address to the IPA CIS Council, in which the poet expressed his gratitude to the IPA CIS Council.
