Valentina Matvienko invited Ilgizar Sabirov to attend the IPA CIS Council session

Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council and Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko invited the Speaker of the Senate of Oliy Mazhlis of Uzbekistan Ilgizar Sabirov to a series of events at the Tavricheskiy Palace, including the session of the IPA CIS Council. She noted that the parliament of Uzbekistan was among the founders of the IPA CIS. It is a unique deliberative forum in the CIS, she said.

Ilgizar Sabirov said: new realities challenge parliamentarians to cooperate and maintain affective exchanges across the entire spectrum of bilateral issues.

Valentina Matvienko noted that the CIS Presidents follow the activities of the IPA CIS and extend to it their support.
