Valentina Matvienko met with Ara Babloyan

Yesterday, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko met with Member of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ara Babloyan in Moscow.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chair of the IPA CIS PC on Political Issues and International Cooperation, Chair of the Council of the Federation Committee on Foreign Affairs, Member of the Interparliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Konstantin Kosachev.
The participants of the meeting discussed the plan of activities of MPs in the field of harmonization of the legislation of the two countries, development of interparliamentary interaction, including at international platforms such as the IPA CIS.
The parties noted that Russia and Armenia had established warm and friendly relations and gave a positive feedback on the joint activities in the Eurasian integration process.
