Meeting of IPA CIS Expert Advisory Board and Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications Held in Moscow

Thе 27^th meeting of the IPA CIS Expert Advisory Board and Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications was held in Moscow at the Center for Human-centered Artificial Intelligence of Sberbank.

The event was attended by Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdukhalil Gafurzoda.

Director General of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications Alexey Borodin was unanimously elected Chair of the IPA CIS – RCC Expert Advisory Board.

At the beginning of the meeting, First Deputy Chair of the Board of Sberbank Alexander Vedyakhin and Deputy Head of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation on Trans-border Cooperation Sergey Malenko addressed the participants.

The participants discussed the progress of work on the draft Model law On Artificial Intelligence Technologies as well as the issue of developing Recommendations on the model Digital Code for the CIS Member Nations.

The Board members heard proposals on the development of provisions related to the regulation of access and provision of services for low-orbit satellite communication systems in the territory of the Commonwealth countries.

The interim report of the United Nations High-Level Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence was presented at the meeting.
