Days of Mourning Declared in Republic of Armenia

Armenia has declared two days of mourning commemorate the victims of the explosion in a shopping center in Yerevan. The decision was published on the website of the government.
The IPA CIS Council Secretariat sent a telegram to Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan and expressed deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims, wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured during the tragic events in Yerevan on 14 August 2022. Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Elena Kuzina made a corresponding record in the book of condolences at the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in St. Petersburg.
