Experts Discussed Issues of Integrating Refugees into Host Community

On 12 December 2022, the fifth meeting of the Global Task Force on Migration (GTFM) took place. The event was focused on issue of integration of refugees and displaced persons into the host community.

The meeting was aimed to discuss the mechanisms for the integration of refugees, based on the practical experience of municipal authorities and local entities. The experts considered how to transform the provisions of the national policy into concrete solutions for the provision of adequate housing, and their promotion of social and economic integration, etc.

Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Social Policy and Human Rights Evgenia Vladimirova and Head of the Department for International Relations, Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Political Affairs and International Cooperation Maximillian Selyutin represented the IPA CIS Council Secretariat at the event via videoconferencing.
