Festive Event in Honor of Independence Day of Moldova Took Place in Tavricheskiy Palace

On 26 August, on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, a festive event took place at the IPA CIS headquarters. The Catherine Hall of the Tavricheskiy Palace was decorated with Moldovan tricolors, traditional bouquets of spikes and sunflowers. One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the book “Romantica Bastinii” (“Romance of the Native Land”) about the life and activities of the natives of Moldova in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Ion Lipciu said that the author of the idea of the book was Vladimir Bolea, who headed the national delegation of the Republic in the Assembly.
