IPA CIS Develops Cooperation with IOM

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy met with Director of the Office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Moscow Marina Shramm in Tavricheskiy palace. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the “Regulation of International Migration Processes on the Territory of the CIS Member Nations” International Conference held today in the IPA CIS headquarters within the framework of the VII St. Petersburg International Labour Forum.

The parties discussed the current state of cooperation between the organizations, stressed the interest in continuing active interaction and the importance of joint work on the legislative regulation of migration processes.

Dmitriy Kobitskiy also invited Marina Shramm to take part in the IPA CIS spring session activities.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed current topics in the field of migration policy of states in the region.
