IPA CIS Representatives Participated in Conference on Countering Financing of Terrorism

On 23 May, the online conference “Enhancing Global Cooperation on Countering the Financing of Terrorism” was held, organized by the UN Counter-Terrorism Office and the International Monetary Fund.
The CIS Interparliamentary Assembly was represented at the conference by the staff members of the Department for International Relations of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat headed by its Head Maximillian Selyutin.
The conference was dedicated to the IMF joining the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Coordination Compact and the launch of the new IMF’s book “Countering the Financing of Terrorism: Good Practices to Enhance Effectiveness”.
The event concluded with an expert panel discussion on enhancing CFT cooperation.
