Alexey Sergeev visited the CIS Economic Tribunal

Founding members of the International Center for Dispute Settlement at the CIS Economic Tribunal held their plenary session in Minsk. The session was attended by the founders of the International Center represented by the Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Alexey Sergeev and Chief Justice of the CIS Economic Tribunal Liudmila Kamenkova. The session discussed amendments to the Regulations of the International Center for Dispute Settlement at the CIS Economic Tribunal. Liudmila Kamenkova briefed the parties about the outcome of the international conference Alternative means for Dispute Settlement in the CIS. Transition from National to International Instruments. Alexey Sergeev confirmed the IPA CIS’s participation in a conference on 21 June 2013 in Minsk.

International Center for Dispute Settlement at the CIS Economic Tribunal was established in 2008 by the IPA CIS Council Secretariat, the CIS Economic Tribunal and INGO International Lawyers’ League with its main objective to facilitate resolution of disputes and conflicts, protection of corporate and individual rights, analysis of legislation and law enforcement practices, drafting of legal opinion.
