Cinema education was discussed in St. Petersburg

On 15 December 2015 the St. Petersburg University of Cinema and Television held an international conference: Cinema Education: Challenges and Outlook for the Future.
The conference was held under the umbrella of the IV St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum which coincided with the 70th anniversary if UNESCO.
The purpose of the conference was to share experience and best practices in cinema education. The participants also discussed the convergent approach to cinema education.
The conference was also attended by a representative of the IPA CIS Konstantin Pshenko, Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sports, Head of the department of Model Law-Making in Social and Humanitarian Fields.
