CIS Advisory Board on Youth Affairs meets in Dushanbe

The session is taking place on 12-13 May. Margarita Safarova, Executive Secretary, YIPA, represents the IPA CIS at the session.
The delegates are discussing the progress of the 2014-2015 Action Plan on the Implementation of the 2020 Strategy for International Youth Cooperation of the CIS Member Nations, and the related policy for 2016-2017.
The session is expected to discuss youth action to commemorate the 70th VE Anniversary and ways to improve youth policy laws across the Commonwealth, with a focus on the legislative practices for youth in Tajikistan, as well as the assessment of the status of youth in the CIS.
