IPA CIS representatives met with PA CE Secretary General

The IPA CIS delegation held a meeting with Wojciech Sawicki, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, in the margins of the PA CE Winter Session.
The IPA CIS was represented by Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Alexey Sergeev, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Viktar Kogut, and Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev.
The parties discussed specific areas for further cooperation: election monitoring, prospects of hosting joint events and cooperation of the core commissions of the IPA CIS and PA CE.
