Nurlanbek Shakiev: IPA CIS Becomes Uniting Platform for Commonwealth States Parliaments

Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev in interview to “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” told about the events of the spring session of the IPA CIS, the status of the Russian language in the Republic and development of ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

According to the Speaker, relations are deepening in many sectors: fuel and energy, medicine, chemicals, food supplying and so one. Nurlanbek Shakiev also noted the importance of the Russian language for Kyrgyzstan. There are a lot of Russian-language educational institutions and art groups there.
