Belarusian MPs Ratified a Number of International Treaties

Today, the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus at its extraordinary session ratified a number of international treaties, aimed at development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation of Belarus with other countries.
Particularly, the MPs ratified the Executive Program between the Governments of Belarus and Egypt on Cooperation in Higher and Postgraduate Education. Its implementation allows providing necessary legal framework for enhancing and strengthening of contacts between the two countries in a variety of educational activities, enhancing the international status of national educational system.
The MPs also adopted the draft Law on Accession of the Republic of Belarus to the Protocol on Electronic Exchange of Information between the CIS Member Nations for Tax Administration.
The House of Representatives also ratified the Agreement on Peculiarities of Operations with Precious Metals and Stones within the Eurasian Economic Union.
