Employment Issues Considered in Mazhilis of Parliament of Republic of Kazakhstan

The government hour dedicated to the issues of ensuring employment of the population and the job creation within the framework of the implementation of the State Program “Enbek” was held in the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan today. The government hour was organized on behalf of Speaker of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin. He focused on the need to consider and analyze the effectiveness of each tenge invested in the implementation of employment programs.
Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Birzhan Nurymbetov told the MPs about the effectiveness of the use of budget funds allocated for the implementation of the program, the transparency of the work of employment centers, the automation of their services, the provision of jobs for young people and the rural population, as well as other aspects of the issue.
Birzhan Nurymbetov also noted the pressure of the growing labor force on the labor market. The working-age population is expected to grow by 2025. The maximum deficit will be 87 thousand workplaces. Birzhan Nurymbetov stated that an additional generation of workplaces is needed in the upcoming period.
According to the press service of the chamber, relevant recommendations will be developed taking into account the proposals made.
