Nurlanbek Shakiev Elected Speaker of Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyz Republic

On 5 October 2022, during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the MPs elected a new Speaker of the parliament. Following the secret voting, Nurlanbek Shakiev became the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.
