Russian Senators Approved Amendments to a Number of Existing Laws

Today, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation held its 517^th meeting. The senators adopted laws aimed at deoffshorising the economy, combating the illegal organization of Internet lotteries and gambling, social protection for employees of the prosecutor’s office and the investigative committee involved in counter-terrorism operations, and considered a number of other issues.

The MPs approved amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation,

the Federal Law on Protection of Competition and the Federal Law on the Procedure of Foreign Investments in Business Companies of Strategic Importance for Ensuring the Defense of the Country and the Security of the State.
