Tajikistan celebrates the Day of the Parliament of the Republic
The Law on Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Holidays” was adopted by the Decree of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan on 15 March 2023 and supported by the Decree of Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli on 16 June 2023.
On the basis of the resolution, 26 September was declared the Day of the Parliament of Tajikistan.
The new holiday is designed to emphasize the importance and authority of the supreme legislative power.
