Davlatali Nazrizoda was appointed Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in St. Petersburg.

Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Ibod Rakhimov attended the opening ceremony of the Consulate General of the Republic of Tajikistan in St. Petersburg.

The Republic of Tajiskistan also opened a Consulate General led by Shamsiddin Zardi in Novosibirsk.

Necessity to open new consulates in these cities has been caused by large number of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan who live and work there.

In total, now there are four Consulates General of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation. Two offices were opened earlier in Yekaterinburg (headed by Safar Safarov) and in Ufa (headed by Olimkhon Shamsov).
