Republic of Armenia celebrates the Constitution Day

Every year on 5 July the Republic of Armenia celebrates the Constitution Day – the basic law of the country. This day in 1995 the draft Constitution was put to a referendum and adopted by the people of Armenia.
The Constitution of the Republic of Armenia of 1995 has become the first constitution of an independent republic. In 2005 and 2015 the Constitution was amended, adopted at nationwide referendums.
