Tajikistan celebrates the 22th anniversary of independence

On 9 September, Tajikistan celebrates the National Independence Day. Throughout the day, public places will host expos, food fests, and concerts. A colorful fire show will be an elegant ending to the festivities.
On 9 September 1991, Tajikistan was declared a sovereign and independent state by a decree of the National Supreme Soviet.
