91st Meeting of CIS Economic Council Takes Place in Moscow

Today, the 91st meeting of the CIS Economic Council that featured a discussion on the relevant issues of the CIS economic cooperation took place in Moscow.
The participants were presented with a report on the activities of the Commission on the Use of Nuclear Energy for Peaceful Purposes and the CIS Intergovernmental Council for Exploration, Use and Protection of Mineral Resources during the 2017 – 2020 period.
The Council also considered the draft Concept for the Strategic Development of Railway Transportation in the “1520 area” until 2030, the draft 2021–2025 Comprehensive Action Plan for the Implementation of the Interstate Program of Innovative Cooperation of the CIS Member Nations until 2030, as well as the draft Plan of Priority Measures for the Implementation of the CIS Concept of the Development of Agricultural Sciences and Scientific Support of the Agro-Industrial Complex and the implementation of the Interstate Target Program “Reclamation of the Territories Affected by Uranium Mining” in 2020.
The next meeting of the CIS Economic Council will take place on 10 December in Moscow.
