CIS Experts Discussed Relevant Issues of Cooperation in Field of Education

On 7 October 2021, the 34th meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Cooperation in Education took place in Yerevan. The event was attended by representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The IPA CIS Council Secretariat was represented at the meeting by Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Science and Education Alexander Surygin. He informed the meeting participants about the Recommendations on Improving the Quality of Education in the CIS Member Nations, adopted by the IPA CIS in 2018.
The meeting participants also got acquainted with the report on the work of the Council in 2021, outlined tasks for the future, discussed the results of the analysis of the CIS regulatory and legal framework in development of cooperation in the field of education and considered other current issues.
