Economic Policies Commission Held Its Regular Meeting in Moscow

On 20 July, a regular meeting of the Economic Policies Commission was held in Moscow, which discussed a wide range of issues of economic cooperation among the CIS Member Nations.

The meeting was focused on the draft CIS Agreement on Free Trade in Services, Establishment, Activities and Investments.

The meeting participants also considered the draft CIS Concept of Scientific, Technical and Technological Cooperation, draft CIS Interstate Radio Navigation Program or 2023-2026, the Interstate Target Program on Reclamation of Territories Affected by Uranium Mining Industries, the report on the activities of the CIS Electric Power Generation Board in 2019-2021, the report on the activities of the Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy in 2018–2021, the Trade Policy Review of the Republic of Moldova.

During the event, the issues of regulatory regimes in the field of banking regulation and supervision in the CIS Member Nations were also considered.

The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 14 September 2022.
