CIS permanent representatives held a meeting

The meeting was attended by the members of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS, First Deputy Chairperson of the Executive Committee – CIS Executive Secretary Vladimir Garkun, IPA CIS Representative in the CIS Executive Committee Yuriy Andreev.

Plenipotentiary representatives discussed the outcomes of the session of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government that took place on 30 October 2015.

The session of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government was attended by representatives of all member nations of the CIS, 6 delegations were headed by prime ministers.

The Council of the CIS Heads of Government regarded 33 issues and adopted 40 documents. 31 of the adopted documents will come into force upon signature, 2 documents will come into force as of 1 January 2016, and 7 after the internal procedures of corresponding member states.

The participants of the session also discussed the activities devoted to the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. 

The plenipotentiary representatives also approved the agenda for the December session.
