Council of the CIS Ministers of the Interior celebrates 20th anniversary

Council of the CIS Ministers of the Interior was established by the decree of the Council of the CIS Heads of State on 19 January 1996.
The Council of Ministers ensures cooperation among the CIS Ministries of the Interior in crime prevention and other areas.
Its sessions provide a forum for the promotion of common efforts to address new challenges and threats.
The Council is a unified coordination center which takes effective measures to solve a wide range of issues on the basis of the in-depth analysis of the situation in the CIS countries. It is actively involved in forming the legal framework for intergovernmental cooperation in combating crime.
