“Eurasian Women`s Community” web portal turns 1 year

The Eurasian Women`s Community web portal http://eawfpress.ru celebrates its first anniversary. On 7 September 2016, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, at its ad hoc meeting chaired by Galina Karelova, approved the creation of information and communication web portal “Eurasian Women`s Community”. Today the web portal is an official information agency of the Eurasian Women`s Forum. At launch, the web portal included only four sections. During the last year their number increased to sixteen, including “Pick-of-the-Day”, “Fast Facts”, “Figure of the Day”, “News of the Women`s Eurasian Forum”, “Women and Power”, “Women and Science”, “Women and Business”, “Women and Culture”, “Active Longevity”, “Women and Charity”, “Agriculture and Environment”, “Women and Family”, “Photobank”, and “Map of the Community Members”. Thus, it comprises many areas of the fair sex activity. Besides, the voting to select the best title for the Eurasian Women's Forum, which is to take place in in the Northern capital in 2018, has been opened on the portal.
