Experts discuss health care issues of the Commonwealth countries

Meeting of the Board of Experts on the revision and approval of the draft Action Plan on the Implementation of the CIS Strategy for People's Health will take place in the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk on 15 November 2018.

The adoption of the document was due to the unfavorable demographic situation in the Commonwealth, e. g. steady decline of population, including young people of working-age, high mortality and low birth rates due to the prevalence of non-communicable diseases. These trends undermine socio-economic development.

The draft Action Plan on the Implementation of the CIS Strategy for People's Health contains four sections, which focus on the main areas of cooperation, reflect frequency, timeline and deliverables of the activities, and list responsible bodies and organizations.
