Galina Karelova: "Forum expects guests from 69 countries"

“Representatives from 69 countries confirmed their participation in the Forum”, said Vice-Speaker of the Federation Council, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee Galina Karelova. The number of international participants will be increasing, with over 500 invitations sent worldwide, she added.

Russian participants are also submitting their registration forms on its web-site (www.eawf.ru). Practically, all Russian regions expressed their interest to attend.

“We see the significant momentum at the pre-Forum stage, even now, when a lot of people have their vacations. Panel discussions and roundtables already have their draft agendas and speaker lists are under approval”, she added.

The Forum will take place on 24-25 September. Its focus is to highlight the important and constructive role of women in socio-economic, legislative, political and diplomatic spheres, as well as in the promotion of humanitarian cooperation among the participating countries of the Forum and international organizations.
