Minsk hosted XXIII international book trade fair

It was attended by guests from 29 countries:
The Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Ukraine, as well as China, Czech Republic, Cuba, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Italy, the Republic of Korea, Lithuania, Palestine, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Turkey, the USA, Venezuela.
According to Chairperson of the Council of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich, the show demonstrates a genuine interest in books.
Representatives of the IPA CIS attended the opening ceremony.
The CIS Executive Committee was represented by its Chairperson Sergey Lebedev.
The programme of the show included more than 200 events, with a large expo dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the CIS.
