Moscow to host CIS International Economic Forum

On 15 March 2019, the Business Center for Economic Development of the CIS with the support of the CIS Executive Committee and the VTB Bank will host the International Economic Forum “CIS: Digital Economy – Integration Platform”.

The Forum, which aims to facilitate the development of constructive practical dialogue of authorities and business, will be hosted in parallel with the regular meeting of the CIS Economic Council. It will bring together members of the CIS Economic Council, heads of the CIS Executive Committee and the Eurasian Economic Commission, representatives of legislative and executive powers of the Commonwealth countries, as well as the representatives of chambers of commerce and industry, trade associations, banking communities, business, IT companies from the CIS and foreign countries.

The Forum will begin with five thematic sessions: CIS as a Digital Platform, Digital Economy in Tourism CIS + WORLD, Medicine Labeling and Traceability of Goods in the Russian Federation, CIS, EEU, Professional Training in Digital Economy and Digital Framework of the CIS Innovative Cooperation. The format of the event includes the plenary session, exchange within discussion panels and the work of contact and networking marketplace.
