Prosecutors General of the CIS discussed practices of combating terrorism

The 26th meeting of the CIS Coordination Board of Prosecutors General took place in Minsk. Deputy Chair of the CIS Executive Committee — Vice Executive Secretary Konysbek Zhusupbekov took part in the meeting.
The participants of the meeting looked into practices of combating terrorism and other violent forms of extremism in the Republic of Azerbaijan, oversight of economic crime investigation in the Republic of Armenia, countering economic crime in the Republic of Belarus and reducing prison population in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting also discussed ensuring rule of law during elections using citizens' biometric data in the Kyrgyz Republic, protection of minors' rights at pre-trial stage of criminal action in the Russian Federation, international legal cooperation of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Moldova with prosecutor offices of the CIS countries, and efforts of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tajikistan in combating organized criminal groups and extremist networks threatening international security.
The members of the Board considered the Statement on the 70th Anniversary of the Nuremberg Tribunal.
