First and foremost, I should mention the Council of Heads of State, the Council of Heads of Government, the Economic Council, and the Council of Foreign Ministers. The CIS Executive Committee is a unified permanent executive and coordination body of the CIS. Among other important intergovernmental structures are the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations, the Economic Court, and the Statistics Committee of the CIS
The meeting of the Council of Heads of Government took place in Minsk on 31 May 2013. The meeting featured the adoption of important instruments dedicated to extend and deepen economic and humanitarian relations, intensifying innovative cooperation, ensuring security in the CIS countries, and tackling many other pressing issues.
