XI CIS Forum of Creative and Academic Intelligentsia in Bishkek

On 27-28 October the XI CIS Forum of Creative and Academic Intelligentsia “The 25^th Anniversary of the CIS. Prospects for Humanitarian Cooperation” was held in Bishkek. The Forum was organized by the CIS Humanitarian Action Trust Fund together with the State Directorate for the preparation and conduct of the Year of History and Culture at the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Forum was attended by many people of science, culture, education, as well as the youth and representatives of public organizations, ministries and agencies from the CIS member-states.

Plenary sessions and field-specific panels featured discussions on may topical issues including “Fostering dialogue among cultures in the CIS space”, “Availability and quality of education in the context of common CIS education space”, “2017 – the Family Year in the CIS”, “The role of youth in the Eurasian integration”, and “Tourism as a factor for acceleration of integration”.

The Forum concluded with the adoption of the final resolution that reflected the most important results of the joint work of the Forum participants.
