The Federation Council closes its Spring Session

I would underscore the package of laws aimed at furthering democratic reforms, liberalization of the election framework, enhancing the role of civil institutions, particularly the Public Chamber
Drawing the outcomes during the last Session meeting, Valentina Matvienko noted that this year Russia for the first time has marked the Day of Russian Parliamentarism, established with support of the Federation Council.
The Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council thanked the team of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat for their assistance in preparing the 330th and the 336th meetings of the Federation Council.
