International Olympiad in Humanities and Social Sciences for CIS Schoolchildren Launched

From 15 December 2024 to 1 April 2025 the qualifying stage of the International Olympiad in Humanities and Social Sciences for schoolchildren of CIS countries is held.
The main goals and objectives of the Olympiad are to disseminate knowledge about the principles of democratic development of modern society, parliamentarism and human rights, to form students’ creative abilities and interest in scientific knowledge of the world, to promote the strengthening of friendly ties between students of the CIS countries, to identify and support talented students, to popularize the Russian language as a language of interethnic communication.
The co-organizer of the Olympiad in the 2024/25 academic year is the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations.
