Results of Olympiad in Humanities and Social Sciences for Schoolchildren of CIS Countries Discussed in Bishkek

On 12 November, Bishkek hosted a regular meeting of the Council for Cooperation in the field of education of the CIS countries. The event was chaired by Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva.

Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat – Director of the International Institute for Monitoring the Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD), Doctor of Law, Professor Ivan Mushket made a report on the International Olympiad in Humanities and Social Sciences for schoolchildren of the CIS countries.

In his speech he noted that the International Olympiad was organised by the decision of the IPA CIS Council.

The Olympiad was organised by the IPA CIS Council Secretariat, co-organisers were the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, the Saratov State Law Academy and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

Also today, a meeting between the leadership of the IPA CIS IIMDD and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took place. Ivan Mushket, Director of the IPA CIS IIMDD Bishkek Office Nurbek Satvaldiev and Rector of Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergey Volkov took part in the meeting.

The parties discussed the prospects of interaction for the coming years, including the signing of a cooperation agreement between the IPA CIS Council Secretariat and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
