Ziyafet Asgarov Appointed as Coordinator of IPA CIS Observer Group for Constitutional Referendum in Kazakhstan.

By order of Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ziyafet Asgarov, has been appointed coordinator of the group of international observers from the IPA CIS for the constitutional referendum in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The observer group will include representatives of the parliaments of the IPA CIS Member Nations, officials of the Assembly, and experts from the Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations.

The observers will conduct monitoring at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yeremek Kosherbayev.
