IPA CIS Participation in Events of Consultative Council of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of Population

A coordination meeting on the preparation of events of the Consultative Council on Labour, Employment and Social Protection of Population of CIS Member Nations was held at the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk.

Participants discussed the draft agenda of the upcoming 39^th meeting of the Consultative Council scheduled for the second half of 2026.

Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Social Policy and Human Rights, Executive Secretary of the Expert Advisory Board on Public Health under the IPA CIS Evgenia Vladimirova informed that a report on the Assembly’s activities to improve the model legislative framework of the Commonwealth in the field of social and labour relations will be presented at the meeting.

Representatives of the IPA CIS will also take part in other events of the Council, including a round table “Occupational Safety of Women” dedicated to World Day for Safety and Health at Work on 29 April 2026, and the forum “Active Longevity in CIS” dedicated to the 35^th anniversary of the Commonwealth.

Evgenia Vladimirova also noted that the IPA CIS is involved in drafting a Comprehensive Programme aimed at creating a common labour market and regulating labour migration in CIS Member Nations, developed under the Consultative Council.
