IPA CIS Prepares Model Law on Digital Platforms and their Use by Participants in Civil Turnover

A meeting of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Legal Issues was held at the Tavricheskiy Palace. The meeting was chaired by Chair of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on Legislation and Human Rights Rustam Shohmurod.
Deputy Chair was elected Chair of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Education, Science, Culture and Social Development Natalia Pavlyuchenko.
Members of the Commission discussed the progress of work on the draft Model law on Digital Platforms and Their Use by Participants in Civil Turnover, adopted a decision on a new version of the Regulations on the IPA CIS Permanent Commissions, and heard a report on the draft Regulations on the legislative activity of the Assembly.
Senators and deputies also considered the concepts of draft Model laws on State Registration and Liquidation of Business Entities and on Experimental (Special) Legal Regimes.
Participants of the meeting reviewed information on the Commission’s activities in 2025 and exchanged views on additional proposals to the draft Prospective Plan of Model Lawmaking in the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2026–2028.
