IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Legal Issues Approved Model Law on State Cadastral Valuation

A meeting of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Legal Issues was held at the headquarters of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS. The event was held under the leadership of Chair of the Committee of the Majlisi namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on Legislation and Human Rights Ravshan Rajabzoda. 

The Deputy Chair of the Commission was member of the Committee of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Law Policy and State Building Amina Aghazade. 

MPs reviewed the drafts of the Model Laws on Contracts for the Transfer of Property into Ownership, on State Cadastral Valuation, and on Obligations from the Public Promise of a Reward, Public Competition, Games, and Betting.

It was decided to request the IPA CIS Council to submit the aforementioned Model Law drafts for consideration at the next plenary session of the Assembly.

The participants also discussed the progress of work on the drafts of the Model Laws on Storage Contracts, on Mediation Contracts on Simple Partnership Contracts, on Contracts for the Use of Property, and on Contracts for Work and Services.

The deputies exchanged views on the draft Model Law on Legal Regulation of Countering Domestic Violence.

The event provided information on the outcomes of the meeting of the Expert Advisory Board at the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Legal Issues , which was held on 26 September, 2024. Decisions were made regarding the proposals developed by the Council.
