CIS Experts Agreed Project Plan Priority Activities on Humanitarian Cooperation for 2027–2028

CIS experts agreed on the draft Plan of Priority Activities in the Field of Humanitarian Cooperation for 2027–2028.
A meeting of the expert group to coordinate the draft Plan of Priority Activities in the Field of Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member Nations for 2027–2028 was held at the CIS Headquarters.
The event was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS, the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation, and the CIS Executive Committee.
It was noted that the document is in demand among Member Nations, as it makes it possible to synchronize national events, plan financing in advance, and address organizational issues related to joint activities.
The experts reviewed proposals submitted by Member Nations and, taking them into account, finalized and agreed on the draft Plan.
The Plan was developed to coordinate multilateral interaction in the fields of education, science, culture, information and mass communications, book publishing, book distribution and printing, sports and healthy lifestyles, tourism, and youth engagement.
The organization of cooperation in the humanitarian sphere in accordance with approved plans has proven itself positively as one of the factors contributing to the strengthening of ties and the establishment of humanitarian contacts.
The meeting was attended by Head of Model Lawmaking Support Department of Expert and Analytical Directorate of Secretariat of Council of the IPA CIS, Secretary of Permanent Commission of IPA CIS on Science and Education Tatiana Baranova, and Representative of the IPA CIS in CIS Executive Committee Viktor Kogut.
