Cooperation Agreement Between IPA CIS Council Secretariat and MGIMO of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Concluded

The document was signed by Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy and Vice-Rector for Development of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Artem Malgin.

The agreement provides for the development of cooperation in scientific, educational and expert-legal spheres to join efforts in highly qualified scientific support of integration processes and improvement of interparliamentary relations of the Commonwealth countries.

The parties agreed to cooperate in scientific research on topical problems of model lawmaking, prepare joint projects, promote the formation of a common educational space of the CIS, develop scientific and cultural programs.

MGIMO is one of the leading Russian and world universities. The University trains specialists in 18 fields. It is a subordinate educational institution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

More than 11 thousand students study at the university. MGIMO branch is opened in Tashkent. The institution teaches 55 foreign languages, including languages of the Commonwealth countries.
