During the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Tashkent, Secretary General of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy held a series of high-level meetings aimed at enhancing international collaboration in the field of model law-making.

In talks with Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova, Dmitriy Kobitskiy discussed Turkmenistan’s involvement in IPA CIS initiatives and its continued participation in the Assembly’s projects.

He also met with Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Asaf Hajiyev, and Secretary General of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly Mohammad Reza Majidi. The focus was on strengthening ties between international parliamentary organizations and expanding cooperation frameworks.

A key topic was the upcoming international conference “Legislative regulation of measures to counter the use of artificial intelligence and other new technologies for terrorist activities” , to be held on April 17 at the IPA CIS headquarters.
